I’d like to voice my support for the Links Steering Group. The Group has been doing sterling work in improving this part of Leith.
The group has met on a regular basis, and works closely with local officials, and has even undertaken a walk around the Leith Links area to see what changes and improvements can be made to the local area.
The Steering Group has also been liaising with other organisations to see what funding options are available. In particular the group has been looking to secure funding to revamp the disused tennis courts. This has proved successful in other parts of the city and I want to see the same in Leith.
I think the group has been doing excellent work, and I look forward to continuing to work with them to improve the Links.
